2010 Coastal Habitat Protection Plan

The revisions to the Coastal Habitat Protection Plan have been approved
by the four commissions: Marine Fisheries, Environmental Management, Wildlife Resources, and Coastal Resources.

The draft CHPP is now available for public review.

What’s New? Approximately 50% new or reorganized information:

  • sea level rise/climate change
  • invasive species
  • point sources
  • endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs)
  • mapping
  • threats
  • management needs
